What this ranch is all about!

   We do a little bit of everything here at the ranch!  From working with those who are new to the world of the herding dog up to the experienced and professional dog herding competitor or expert!  We are also glad to host the curious about a working ranch, the creative person wanting to be inspired in their art, or a family wanting to share a bit of the land based lifestyle with their children.  Everyone's welcome!

   Free To Be Ranch is a working sheep and goat ranch that specializes in training herding/working dogs.  We are located in Mountainair, New Mexico which is about an hour southeast of Albuquerque.  There is lots to explore and learn about.  If you can't find an answer to your question, please contact us!
